Islands of Adventure

Universal’s Islands of Adventure

Islands of Adventure, what a great park.

It used to be the park associated with Harry Potter’s world, and as such had a special place in the heart of many Harry Potter lovers. Now that Harry Potter’s world is set across both of the Universal parks for the lovers of the series of books and movies both parks are a must.  Visit Islands of adventure to see Hogwarts, visit Hogsmeade and don’t forget to taste some butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks  , take the Hogwarts express to Universal Studios and Diagon Alley, and Escape from Gringotts.

But limiting this park experience to Harry Potter world is doing it a disservice. Islands of adventure is an amazing theme park.  You will find there all that your heart desires.  Fantasy, adventure, thrill and nostalgia.  Crazy funny and enjoyable water rides, like Dudley doo right’s Ripsaw falls or Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges.

Jurassic park, the ride and  exploration centre, Dr. Seuss’s world, amazing rides like Spiderman, The Hulk roller coaster, and Reign of Kong.

Add to that the shows on offer, entertainment, kids play areas, and character encounters, on top of great dining options, and you end up with a theme park not to be missed.

On a personal note, this is one of my favourites.  I’m a real Harry Potter buff, love  the books and the movies. So a park that highlights J.K. Rollins magical world in the most amazing way, well, I just love it.  Add  to that my love for everything Dr. Seuss (I absolutely love that part of the park), Spiderman, the water rides and Mythos, of course, and you’ve got a winner.
